DoeL — settle family rivalries the ASCII way. Challenge your friends in this free quick-draw game from Disrpt Gaming.
A duel needs two players on two Android phones. Each player downloads and installs their own copy. Play together nearby over Bluetooth, even offline. Rooms are configured for two duelists and up to 14 spectators; practical capacity depends on the phones. Android first. More platforms coming soon.
MAKE IT YOURS
Explore 30 distinct ASCII weapons and 10 glowing finishes in the Armory. Swipe sideways to browse; drag up or down to tip the weapon. After a confirmed purchase, tap Equip weapon. Your home-screen selection is the weapon you fire.
YOUR DoeL SCENE
Choose a photo or use your rear camera as the gameplay backdrop, with your ASCII weapon overlaid on top. The menu constellations stay in the menus. Camera access is optional; the camera view stays on your phone and is not recorded.
During a duel, drag outside the clear circle to tip the artwork. Wait for DRAW, then raise your phone and make a deliberate downward whip to shoot, or tap the circle. Keep a firm grip and room around you.
INSTALL ON ANDROID
1. Get this free download and open the ZIP in your phone’s Files app.
2. Tap Extract, then open DoeL-alpha-0.9.13.apk.
3. If prompted, open Settings and allow this source to install apps. Return and tap Install. You can turn that permission off afterward.
4. Install the same version on both phones and play in landscape.
U.S. residents only, ages 13+. Minors need parental permission. Email verification is required for an account. Optional weapons, lives, bullets and rewarded ads are available in the game. Each completed, verified rewarded video adds 15% to your free-life charge. Ad availability varies.
Daily restock: 6 bullets up to 36 and 1 life up to 3, at a randomized time between 12:01 and 5:59 a.m. for your account. Reopening syncs eligible restocks. The main-menu Restock Countdown shows the next 6 a.m. deadline. Only purchased lives can be gifted to a player with zero lives; prepare offline gifts while connected.
